Zoosk Launches New Date Feedback Feature to Help Online Daters by Analyzing which Online Relationships Lead to Offline Dates

Zoosk, a leading technology-driven online dating company, today announced the launch of Date Feedback, a new feature that will solicit feedback from members about the likelihood or success of offline dates. This will help Zoosk members bridge the gap between the online dating experience and the offline world where relationships take place, while providing an additional source of data for Zoosk’s personalized Behavioral Matchmaking™ engine.

When Zoosk’s system recognizes that two members have exchanged a significant number of messages, Date Feedback will prompt each person to provide feedback on how their conversation with this member has progressed, and whether the two expect to go on an in-person date. By collecting this feedback, Zoosk will gain knowledge into which online introductions were successful in reaching the offline world and why, thereby providing additional insight Zoosk can use to facilitate matches more likely to result in first dates and ultimately, relationships.

“At Zoosk, we are constantly improving our technology to help our members discover fulfilling relationships, and Date Feedback will be one of the first ways we’re able to add offline dates to the list of signals our algorithm can take into account for matchmaking,” said Shayan Zadeh, Co-Founder and CEO of Zoosk. “With the launch of Date Feedback and the important data points it adds, our platform will have the ability to become that much more adept at understanding how a member’s online dating experience transitions into an in-person meeting, and hopefully, a relationship.”

Date Feedback demonstrates Zoosk’s commitment to offering members a more personalized approach to online matchmaking. By receiving more insight about the transition from online conversations to relationships in the offline world, Zoosk will have more data to better predict which introductions will lead to future successful relationships. As this new feature continues to evolve, Zoosk expects that it will make their Behavioral Matchmaking™ technology even more powerful, and help members form more fulfilling offline connections.
