Congratulations to Ashley and Todd from North Carolina!

Finding real love a second time around is a true blessing. Ashley and Todd couldn’t agree more.

She writes:

“I became a widow at age 37 and it felt like I would never truly be happy again. After about a year of widowhood, I created a Zoosk account because I didn’t know any single men my age. After a few weeks, I met Todd, who was also a widower. He sent me a message and we began to talk. That first week of getting to know him was magical. We talked for hours and hours and he asked me out to lunch the following Friday, which was two days before Christmas. I wanted to see how it felt to meet in real life, so I accepted. We met at a local restaurant and I was so nervous and excited, all at the same time. He brought me flowers and I gave him a gift card to Outback. We sat in that booth for 3 hours. We talked, we laughed, we cried, and when I got back to my car, I knew he was the one. Exactly 3 months later, Todd got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. We got married last August and we are now a family of 7 (as we have 5 children between us). I am so thankful to have found love once again. What a blessing it is to be happy!”
