Congratulations to Jeannine and Jared from Stockton, California!

Often, online dating allows you to meet single people you might not be able to connect with otherwise. Jeannine found this to be true when she met Jared, who lives two hours away from her.

She writes:

“I subscribed to Zoosk in March 2016. I tried different search options, and even filtered my search to only show me the types of guys I like and knew I wanted to meet. Two hours later, I saw stumbled upon a cute guy’s profile that read – ‘Definitely Dorky.’ I knew I had to check out his profile, and so I did! He saw that I viewed his profile and messaged me shortly thereafter. We chatted for 3 hours straight, asking each other tons of questions. I appreciated that he listened to me, asked me questions, and openly shared his life and experiences with me. A few days later, Jared asked me to go out to dinner for our first date.

When we met, we were both super happy that the chemistry we had felt online and on the phone was the same in-person. I have found the man of my dreams! And it only took me two hours. I joke with Jared sometimes and say that it was the best $30 I have ever spent. We live two hours from each other, so while we both wished we had met the ‘old-fashioned way,’ we might not have gotten the chance to meet at all if it wasn’t for online dating. So for that, we’re very thankful! We continue to talk and message each other every day, and try to see each other when we can. Every time I see him, I am more amazed by what an incredible person he is and how perfect he is for me.”
