Congratulations to Mark and Balenda from New York!

Sometimes you get lucky and find a soul that grooves with yours. Mark’s thankful to have found that.

He writes:

“I messaged Balenda on Zoosk, asking her about travel. She replied and there was an immediate spark! We also grew up in the same county, so we discovered we had lots in common and loads to talk about. After two weeks, we met up for dinner. I arrived first and sat at the bar so I could see the door. I saw Balenda come in and immediately recognized her from her pictures. I got up to greet her and she gave me a big smile. We went to a booth, got drinks and something to eat. The nervousness quickly disappeared and the rapport we had on the phone returned. We laughed and talked about our lives. It’s been three years since that night. This past August, I asked Balenda to marry me, and she said yes!

We are perfect for each other because we both enjoy being around people, going places, and experiencing what life has to offer. Our friends and family also get along famously. I have two children from a previous marriage and she knew exactly how to approach the situation. She treated them with respect, and her gregarious loving nature allowed for a solid relationship to blossom and grow. We always tell people that we met on Zoosk and how lucky we are. So, thank you Zoosk for bring us together!”
