Zoosk, a leading technology-driven online dating company that provides personalized matches, announced today that Mike Riccio, former Vice President of Engineering and Architecture at global interactive entertainment company Electronic Arts, has joined Zoosk as VP of Engineering. Riccio will provide leadership to drive engineering efforts across Zoosk’s mobile and online dating platforms as the company continues to innovate and bring new technologies to its over 27 million members. Prior to EA, Riccio co-founded and served as VP and CTO of Pogo.com, an online casual game destination that was later acquired by EA. At Pogo.com, Riccio helped develop product roadmap planning processes to support the Pogo.com franchise within EA.

“I am impressed by Zoosk’s data-driven approach, and I am looking forward to taking part in Zoosk’s future direction as it continues to use technology to improve the dating industry,” said Riccio. “With Zoosk’s commitment to building the best possible technology to fuel its popular dating platform, we believe we’re well positioned to lead innovation in the online dating space.”
